Philosophy

The Agile Philosophy is applied common sense. The challenge is not to understand it, but to embrace in practice.

What is the Philosophy at the heart of the Agile Delivery Framework?

The philosophy is based on the 80/20 Pareto principle. In other words, the Agile Delivery Framework is a delivery process that encourages organizations to decompose the delivery of their business solutions into increments. The aim is to deliver 20% of the Business Requirements that account for 80% of the business benefit, by the end of the first increment.

The 80/20 split is very academic, most business projects deliver a 70/30 or 60/40 split.

Organizations that aim to deliver the maximum business benefit with the minimum delivery, in other words, with the minimum budget, must be prepared to prioritize business requirements that would be 100% mapped to identified and agreed business benefits.

In practice, organizations using this delivery philosophy can truly;

•            Reduce Time to Market.

•            Reduce Cost.

•            Increase Productivity.

•            Improve Quality.
